Synopsis

During the height of Cold War tensions, a highway patrolman stops motorists on a desolate road and forces them to take shelter in an abandoned building, believing a nuclear attack is imminent. As paranoia escalates and authority breaks down, the trapped strangers must confront their fears and each other while waiting for disaster. The psychological pressure mounts as they question whether the threat is real or if their captor has lost his mind.
